Meet Mediator

Leslie R. Bottimore created CLEAR WATER Mediation Services, L.L.C. after practicing Family and Elder Law for almost twenty-five (25) years and after running her own Business - the Law Firm Where the Family is Our Focus - Bottimore & Associates, P.L.L.C. - for over twenty (20) years.

Along the way, Leslie trained as a Mediator in various styles of Mediation: Evaluative Mediations with Shuttle Diplomacy, Settlement Conferences, Facilitative Mediations, Narrative Mediations, and Insight Mediations. Leslie is a Certified Mediator with Washington Mediation Association (WMA) and a Featured Mediator with Mediate.com. Leslie is also a Co-Parenting Coach and Certified Co-Parenting Specialist with CoPS.

Leslie also served as a Pro Tem Judge for the Pierce County Superior Court from 2016 to 2024.  In such role, she handled numerous Settlement Conferences resolving Divorce, Parenting Plan, and Family Conflicts.

Leslie formally trained in Collaborative Law in 2007. She has engaged in ongoing Training in Collaborative Law, Family Mediations, and Consensual Family Dispute Resolution over the years, as both a Participant and a Trainer / Educator.

At this stage, Leslie is now devoting her career to serving as a Neutral Mediator in her efforts to facilitate Resolution of Family Conflicts - one Family at a time.

Outside of her work, Leslie enjoys her family, cooking, baking, gardening, reading, writing, walking, and traveling.
